Installing VitalSource^TM Bookshelf + Content

This is the installation guide for the VitalSource^TM Bookshelf software. Please note: Installation requires an active Internet connection and administrator access to your computer.

VitalSource^TM Bookshelf requires Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Mac OS X 10.3.9 - 10.5.1

» Download VitalSource^TM Bookshelf for you computer
-Macintosh Download | Windows Download

PC: You will be prompted if you want to save or run the linked file. Choose save. Once the file has downloaded, locate the file and launch the installer. When prompted, click the “Continue” button throughout the installation wizard until your last click is “Finish”. After installation is complete, launch Bookshelf.

(Bookshelf requires .Net 2.0. If you do not already have this application, the disk will begin installing this for you. Afterwards, your machine should continue with the Bookshelf installation.)

Mac: Download the DMG file. Once finished, double click on the installer and Drag the Application “Bookshelf“ to your Applications folder.

» Launch Bookshelf and accept the terms and conditions. When Bookshelf launches it will take you the VitalSource^TM Store. Click on the image that says “New User Click Here To Register” button.

» Complete the registration form in full, including the required Redemption Code, that is located on the business card you received. Then, click the “Register” button. You are now registered.

» Once you have downloaded your license file, click on "All Titles" in the "Collections Pane" and you will see your title with a yellow triangle in front of it. Double-Click on your title and you will be asked if you want to download your title. Click yes, and your title will download.

» Once your Book has downloaded you can double click on your title in the "All Titles" pane and it will open up within Bookshelf.
