VitalSource^TM solutions place libraries of content on the computer. The libraries are portable, but they are aware of network connectivity, so they can update and refresh when you return to the web.

The foundation is the VitalSource^TM Library. It's a rich, standard library of over 3400 items, featuring the great works from many disciplines. Institutions can build on that foundation by adding their own customized versions of the VitalSource^TM Curriculum. Curriculum solutions can be specific to a class, a department or discipline, or even an entire school program. Examples include VitalSource^TM Law, VitalSource^TM Business, VitalSource^TM Dentistry, VitalSource^TM High School, and many more. In every case, individual users can add their own references through the VitalSource^TM Bookstore, which is built into the application.
