Menus

What is it?

Menus help you do things. They are pop-up lists of the features and functions of the application.

How does it work?

Choose items from the menus when you want to perform tasks or navigate between windows.

When will I use it?

Anytime you want to search, annotate, update, customize, move around, or get help, you can consult the menus. Note that the menus also display "hot key" shortcuts to many functions (a complete list of these shortcuts is found in the full help documentation).
