Creating an Account

Creating an account with VitalSource Bookshelf is very simple and only takes a few moments. It requires an active internet connection.

If you have downloaded Bookshelf from our website, then when you first launch Bookshelf, you will see the VitalSource Bookstore. Create an account and you'll be on your way to filling up your Bookshelf with books from the VitalSource Store.

If your copy of Bookshelf came with a redemption code for pre-determined content, you first need to create an account and type in your code. Bookshelf will download your license and present you with your list of books and other materials. You may need to download these items individually.

If your computer came pre-loaded with Bookshelf, you will see a small box appear when you launch Bookshelf, informing you that you have demo license and need to register. This will happen everytime you launch Bookshelf, until you register. Registration is as simple as creating an account, entering some required information and waiting for your license to download.

You are now ready to use Bookshelf. Enjoy!

Using a redemption code you can activate new content.

My Account

Provides access to all of your account information that you entered when you first established your account. This is also where you can update any account information and access resources or content available to you.

Forgot Password

If you forgot your password, it can sent to the email address affiliated with your account. It is important to keep your email address current.
