How to Add Resources to Your Account

As a part of your license to VitalSourceTM Library, you have access to one, or more, resources like a dictionary or an encyclopedia (details vary depending on how Bookshelf was purchased). If you did not activate all of your resources when registering, or have received new ones, you can start using them after following a few easy steps.

Important: These instructions will assume the user has installed a copy of VitalSourceTM Bookshelf (formerly VitalSourceTM KEY) on their computer and registered their content. If this is not the case, please follow the instructions you were given, and the proper settings will be applied during the registration process.

My Account

STEP ONE

Launch Bookshelf (formerly KEY). Under the Help menu, choose My Account and you should see the My Account screen (see left). If you do not see it, but instead are prompted to log in, simply log in and then continue.

At the bottom of this screen you should see the small link You have additional content available.. Click on this link.





Choose resource

STEP TWO

You should now see a selection screen (like the encylopedia selection screen on the right).

Make your selection. Choose carefully because this selection is not reversible. If you do not wish to make a selection at this time, choose No Selection and click the Select button. Your license will be updated (even if you chose No Selection), and your new content available for download in Bookshelf (formerly KEY).

If you choose No Selection the link will remain in your My Account dialog box until do. There is no expiration for this content.
