Download digital versions of your textbooks from within your VitalSource^TM Bookshelf application, directly from publisher websites, or from your campus resellers.

The books are digital and are delivered in the state-of-the-art VitalBook (.vbk) format, so they search, annotate, and organize better than paper books and better than other digital formats.

When you buy a book, it downloads to your hard drive (just like your music files), so it is yours to take where you want and use when you want. You don't have to be tethered to a network to study. In case of viruses or other unforseen problems, though, you are covered: when you restore your hard drive, all you have to do is enter your username and password, and the books will restore!

How can I find out what books are already available?

The easiest and most up-to-date method for finding out if the book you need is available in VitalBook^TM format is to look in the VitalSource^TM Store. Visit the VitalSource^TM Store

Publishers from around the world are creating new books in the VitalBook^TM format everyday. So the list is growing quickly. If you do not immediately see what you are looking for, use the "Send Feedback..." command in Bookshelf's Help menu to let us know what you would like to see added.
